Mini

Mini (stylised as MINI) is an English automotive marque specialised in small cars, founded in 1969, subsidiary of BMW since 1994. The original Mini was a line of iconic British small cars manufactured by the British Motor Corporation, and its successors, from 1959 until 2000. Their models included the Morris Mini-Minor and the Austin Seven, the Countryman, Moke, 1275GT and Clubman.[4] Performance versions of these models used the name Cooper, due to a partnership with racing legend John Cooper. The original two-door Mini continued in production until 2000. Development of a successor began in 1995 and the new generation car was launched in 2001. The current Mini range includes the Hardtop/Hatch/Convertible (three-door hatchback), Clubman (estate), Countryman (five-door crossover), Coupe/Roadster and Paceman (three-door crossover based on the Countryman). The Mini was originally a product of the British Motor Corporation, which in 1966 became part of British Motor Holdings. British Motor Holdings merged with Leyland Motors in 1968 to form British Leyland. Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969. In the 1980s, British Leyland was broken-up and in 1988 Rover Group, including Mini, was acquired by British Aerospace. In 1994, Rover Group was acquired by BMW. In 2000, Rover Group was broken up by BMW, with BMW retaining the Mini brand. Remapped Mini Clubman 1.6T can have a upped bhp of 194 BHp from 181 BHp. Mini 1.6T JCW 208 can turned into a beast by upping the bhp to 223 BHp from 208 BHp.

Can you remap my car?

We offer remap solutions for most cars. For some of the newer ECU platforms there may be some delays, especially in cases where “virtual read” may not be available at the server. If you have a specific requirement, feel free to get in touch with our team.

Can I have my naturally aspirated car remapped?

Yes, they can be remapped. However, the gains are lesser as compared to a Turbocharged vehicle. That said with the right upgrades a remap can help extract every last ounce of performance even from a NA engine. These maps are equally useful for daily drivers and for various motorsports application. Our remap for NA vehicles also improves throttle response and daily drivability.

What makes a Turbo car so great?

A turbocharger is designed to force feed air into the engine at higher pressure to allow better combustion. The ECU can accurately monitor and control the amount of air that is fed into the engine at any given time. Manufacturers often limit the performance of Turbo. This means any turbo vehicle that is remapped at the hands of a specialist can unleash full potential of the engine. The increase in performance also depends on other hardware upgrades like high flow down pipe, de-cat exhaust system, intercooler upgrade, turbo upgrade, injector upgrade etc.

Remap gains could be in the range of 15 to 25% with no performance upgrades.

Remap gains could be in the range of 20 to 100 % with appropriate performance upgrades.
